Custom Am Worlds Bag Tags
We made 100 unique epoxy resin bag tags specifically for the Amateur World Championships!
RULES
The caches will be in place August 6th and will be removed the last day that the course is used for competition.
Each cache will be a small black container with a red lid labled “Disc Golf Cache.”
Within each cache is an “ace stamp”. Collect each stamp on a piece of paper. There is a log book to sign. Competitors are also encouraged to leave something behind for others to trade with.
Turn in your stamp collection sheet at: FlyMart, Niagara Falls Night, Players Party or the final day of competition at Bond Lake to receive a custom handmade bag tag.
Players only need to collect 3 of 4 stamps since FA1 won’t play Royalton & MA1 won’t play Como. If players do collect all 4, there’s a small bonus item.
Only 100 bag tags were made. They will be first come, first serve. Competitors will be given priority, but if locals want to participate, they can also collect after the final day of competition.
Hint #1: A poem with a bit of a clue
Black Diamond DGC at Emery
Where fourteen ends and footsteps roam,
The forest guides your journey home.
Before fifteen, look side to side—
A geocaching gem may softly hide.
Bond Lake
Discs take flight where fairways gleam,
At Bond Lake's course, pursue your dream.
Near sixteen's tee, don't wander far,
A few short steps may raise the bar.
COMO LAKE
A watchful tower stands in sight.
Let nature guide each careful stride—
A hidden smile waits close beside.
Royalton ravine
Where discs take flight through woods so free,
The ravine whispers, "Come find me."
Near the fourth, but not in plain view,
A hidden prize awaits for you.
Hint #2: A VISUAL AID
After 15s basket, cross the creek, go up a trail, then turn right instead of out into the open. You’ll find the cache in an old “altar.”
After playing hole13, walk behind the Lighthouse and find the cache there.
The cache is behind hole 4’s long tee pad.
This image is reversed of the way a player would walk off 15 toward 16. To the right of 16’s long tee pad are some steps that head down to the waters edge. The cache is down the steps.
